Irene Reif
Irene Reif ( pseudonym : Cecil J. Hoop , born June 14, 1931 in Nuremberg as Irene Ida Stauber ; † May 19, 2000 there ) was a German writer.
Life
Irene Reif, who lived with her family in Nuremberg , has published entertainment novels and books for young people , essays , poems (in Franconian dialect ) and reviews as well as numerous radio reports as a freelancer for the Bavarian Broadcasting Corporation since the 1950s . Since the 1970s , the focus of her work has been on works about her Franconian homeland.
Irene Reif was a member of the Association of German Writers and the Association of Franconian Writers . In 1973 she received the Federal Cross of Merit on Ribbon and in 1983 the Federal Cross of Merit, 1st class.
