Iris Anna Otto
Iris Anna Otto (born May 24, 1953 in Herne ) is a German writer .
Life
Iris Anna Otto studied Comparative Religious Studies , Ancient Oriental Studies and Modern German Literature in Marburg and received her doctorate in 1981 with a thesis on the dreams of the Iroquois . In 1991 she received the Georg Christoph Lichtenberg Prize , in 1992 the Young Literature Prize of the City of Herne and in 1994 the Culture Prize of the City of Pfungstadt .
As an editor, she played a key role in setting up the FALKEN software before she devoted herself entirely to writing short prose, scripts, radio plays and features, poems, and children's and young people's books.
