Irmgard Perfahl

Irmgard Beidl-Perfahl (born November 19, 1921 in Birkfeld ) is an Austrian writer and librarian .

Live and act

Perfahl graduated from high school in Kassel , studied German in Graz and worked as a librarian in Linz and teaching program assistant (medical didactics) in Tübingen . She has been working as a freelance writer since 1974, she made her debut with driving but never arriving and traveled a lot. a. Africa , Japan and Asia Minor .

She is a member of the Austrian Writers' Association , the Marcel Proust Society , the Graz Authors' Assembly and, since 1953, the artists' association MAERZ . After a long stay in Tübingen , she has lived in Leonding since 2002 .
