Irmgard Weth

Irmgard Weth (* 1943 in Stuttgart as Irmgard Scheffbuch ) is a German Protestant theologian , pedagogue and lecturer in biblical theology . As the author of the Neukirchen Children's Bible, she became known to a wider public.

From 1962 to 1967 she studied Protestant theology, Latin, and history in Tübingen and Heidelberg. From 1969 to 1972 she worked in the school service in Tübingen and Reutlingen.

She is married to the theologian Rudolf Weth , director and pastor of the Neukirchener Erziehungsverein from 1973 to 2003.
