Irving Sao Paulo

José Irving São Paulo (born October 26, 1964 in Feira de Santana , Bahia , † August 10, 2006 in Rio de Janeiro ) was a Brazilian actor.

São Paulo, son of director Olney São Paulo and brother of actor Ilya São Paulo , made his first appearance at the age of six in a theater in his hometown. His film and television career began in the late 1970s. At the television station Rede Globo he appeared in soap operas such as Final Feliz (1982) by Ivani Ribeiro , Bebê a Bordo (1988) and A Viagem (1994). As one of Ivani Ribeiro's favorite actors, he also used him in other of his films such as O Sexo dos Anjos (1990) and Mulheres de Areia (1993).

He also plays in other film stories such as Torre de Babel and Estrela-Guia . The last appearances at Rede Globo had Irving in episodes of Linha Direta Justiça and Um Só Coração , both in 2004. In 1997 he was a member of the jury for the choice of Miss Brazil.

His last job was director of the theatrical spectacle Desclassificados , together with his friend, the actor Thiago Junior. São Paulo died at the age of 41 from multiple organ failure caused by chronic pancreatitis .
