Isa Günther

Isa Günther (born May 20, 1938 in Munich ) is a German actress and former child actress .

Together with her twin sister Jutta Günther , Isa Günther began her film career in 1950 with Das doppelte Lottchen, based on the children's book by Erich Kästner . If this film - directed by Josef von Báky - was still a box office hit, which also brought Kästner the gold film , the subsequent homeland films, in which the twin sisters appeared, have more or less been forgotten. The two also had a guest role in the 1954 musical film An Each Finger Ten , with Bibi Johns , Hans Albers , Cornelia Froboess , Josephine Baker , Rudolf Schock and others. a. m.

Isa Günther only played two roles without her twin sister, namely Klara Sesemann in the films Heidi (1952) and Heidi and Peter (1955).

The Günther twins ended their film career at the age of 20, later married and retired into private life. Isa is now called Isa Günther-Wimmer and lives in Cologne .
