Isaac Atanga (born July 29, 2000 ) is a Ghanaian football player who is under contract with the Danish first division club FC Nordsjælland .
Career
Atanga comes from the well-known Right to Dream Academy and in summer 2018 switched to the youth department of the Danish first division club FC Nordsjælland , a cooperation club of Right to Dream. He had already completed a test match with the Farum club in February 2018 . At the beginning he played mainly games for the U19 team, but was also occasionally used in the reserve. On April 14, 2019 (29th matchday), he made his debut in the Danish top division in the 1: 2 home defeat against Esbjerg fB when he came on in the 73rd minute for the Finn Oliver Antman . In the 2018/19 season he played a total of two league games for the first team.
On the first matchday of the next 2019/20 season , July 14, 2019, he was on the starting line-up for the first time in the 3-0 away win against AC Horsens and scored his first goal in this game. He established himself this season as a regular under the coach Flemming Pedersen and scored seven goals in 34 league appearances.
