Isaac Okoro (born January 26,  2001 in Atlanta ) is an American basketball player .

career

Okoro, whose father is from Nigeria  , played as a student for four years at McEachern High School in Powder Springs , Georgia . In July 2018, he announced his decision to move to Auburn University for the 2019/20 season . Okoro ended the 2018/19 game year with the McEachern High School team with a flawless record of 32 wins and no defeat, with the winger contributing an average of 19.7 points and 10.1 rebounds per match.

At Auburn University, Okoro was promptly one of the determining players and, like his teammates Samir Doughty  and J'Von McCormick, achieved an operating time of more than 30 minutes per game over the course of the 2019/20 season. Okoro was always in the starting line-up in his 28 missions, he posted averages of 12.8 points and 4.4 rebounds per encounter. In March 2020, Auburn's head coach Bruce Pearl announced that Okoro would participate in the NBA draft process. In several preview rankings he is named as a candidate for a place among the top ten players.

National team

In 2018 he won the U17 World Cup in Argentina with the US national team .
