Isabella Macdonald Alden
Isabella Macdonald Alden (born November 3, 1841 in Rochester, New York , † August 5, 1930 Palo Alto, California ) was an American writer under the pseudonym Pansy .
Life
In addition to her work as a writer, Alden was also the editor of various Christian magazines of her time, such as Christian Endeavor World , as well as other US and Japanese magazines. Her books have been translated into numerous languages around the world; in the German-speaking area she was best known for the books about Esther Ried . Isabella Macdonald Alden died at the age of 88 in Palo Alto, California.
