Isabella Rosenby Thomsen (born October 11, 1985 ) is a Danish handball player .

Thomsen started playing handball at Rødovre HK. She joined Slagelse DT in 2004 through the FIF association . With Slagelse, the 1.82 m tall goalkeeper celebrated her greatest success to date in 2005 by winning the EHF Champions League . After Thomsen was active for Horsens HK in the 2006/07 season , she moved to the German Bundesliga club Thuringian HC . In the course of the 2007/08 season, however, the Danish left the club because her mother became seriously ill. From February 2008 she was with the Swedish first division team Eslöv between the posts. Since September 2008 she has been under contract with Slagelse again.

Thomsen played a total of 64 youth internationals (6 goals) for Denmark and was voted best goalkeeper at the 2004 European Junior Championship.
