Isabelle Stoffel

Isabelle Stoffel (born August 25, 1972 in Basel ) is a Swiss actress and director who works in both German and Spanish-speaking countries.

Isabelle Stoffel completed her training as an actress at the Bern University of Music and Theater. She played on various Swiss stages such as B. the Stadttheater Luzern, the Kaserne Basel, Gessnerallee Zürich or the Stadttheater Bern. In Belgium she played with the theater group Teatro de los Sentidos, in Rio de Janeiro in the Palacio Imperial, in Berlin in the Sophiensælen as a member of the ensemble of Nico and the Navigators. Since 2005 he has also appeared on stage in numerous productions in the Spanish-speaking area, including the monologue La rendición at the National Theater in Madrid , Sala Muntaner Barcelona and Teatro Maipo Buenos Aires. At the Edinburgh Fringe Festival 2013 she played The Surrender (this monologue) in English. She plays in several film and television productions in Germany and Spain . In 2012 she has her first theater direction in Switzerland made Jimmy, dream creature which they founded the formation Recycled Illusions.

She was best known in German-speaking countries through the role of Stefanie "Steffi" Gessler in the RTL television series Hinter Gittern - Der Frauenknast .
