Isak Davidsen

Isak Davidsen (born August 5, 1953 ) is a Greenlandic politician ( Siumut ), pastor and provost .

Life

Isak Davidsen has been pastor in Maniitsoq , Narsaq and Sisimiut since 2000 . In May 2010 he was appointed provost of the Provsteqarfik Kujataa, responsible for the Palaseqarfiit Nanortalik , Narsaq, Qaqortoq and Paamiut . He succeeded Jakobine Kyed, who moved to the Provsteqarfik Qeqqa Tunulu, the Dompropstei, consisting of the Palaseqarfiit Nuuk , Maniitsoq, Sisimiut, Qaanaaq , Ittoqqortoormiit and Tasiilaq . She died a short time later and Isak Davidsen replaced her in October 2010, making him provost of the diocese of Greenland . In 2018 he was made a knight of the Dannebrog Order and retired in the same year.

Isak Davidsen was a member of the Inatsisartut for the Atassut from 2002 to 2005 . From 2005 to 2009, he was able to move into parliament once more via a replacement place, this time for the Siumut. In 2009 he gave up his seat on the parliamentary presidium after he had not noticed, as chairman of the session, that Palle Christiansen was voting for a colleague.
