The Isengard Bluff is an isolated cliff on the southwestern foothills of Tonkin Iceland before Bowman Coast of Graham Lands on the Antarctic Peninsula .

It was discovered by Mark Russell of the British Antarctic Survey . The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named it in 2003 after Isengard , the seat of the magician Saruman from the novel The Lord of the Rings by the British writer JRR Tolkien .
