The Isingbreen ( Norwegian for Icy Glacier ) is a glacier in Queen Maud Land, East Antarctica . It flows in a north-westerly direction between Mount Isingen and the Kvitkjølen mountain range in Sverdrupfjella .
The first aerial photographs were taken during the German Antarctic Expedition (1938–1939). Norwegian cartographers, who also named it, mapped the glacier based on aerial photographs of the Norwegian-British-Swedish Antarctic Expedition (NBSAE, 1949–1952) and the Third Norwegian Antarctic Expedition (1956–1960).
