The Kvitkjølen ( Norwegian for White Kiel ) is a rocky mountain range in Queen Maud Land, East Antarctica . It is located between the Kvitsvodene valley and Isingbreen in Sverdrupfjella .
The first aerial photographs were taken during the German Antarctic Expedition (1938–1939). Norwegian cartographers mapped it using geodetic surveys and aerial photographs of the Norwegian-British-Swedish Antarctic Expedition (NBSAE, 1949–1952) and aerial photographs of the Third Norwegian Antarctic Expedition (1956–1960).
