The 2010/11 season was the 20th season of the Icelandic Ice Hockey League , the highest Icelandic ice hockey league . The first team of Skautafélag Akureyrar , the SA Víkingar , became champions for the 15th time in the club's history .

Each team received three points for a win after regular time, two points for a win after overtime, one point for a loss after overtime and zero points for a defeat after regular time.
