The Isla Evandro (in Argentina Isla Zerabia ) is a 900 m long island of the Pitt Islands in the archipelago of the Biscoe Islands off the west coast of the Antarctic Peninsula . It is 3 miles north of the northwestern extension of Pickwick Island .
Chilean scientists named them after Evandro Valenzuela Guevara from the Fuerza Aérea de Chile , head of the teams on the Base Presidente Eduardo Frei Montalva on King George Island in 1971 and 1976. The background of the Argentinean name is not known.
