The Islote Calvo ( Spanish , in Argentina Islote Morro ) is a 0.8 km wide island in the archipelago of the Biscoe Islands west of the Antarctic Peninsula . It is located 0.36 km south of the southeast end of Duchaylard Island .
Chilean scientists named it after Jorge Calvo P., participant in the 4th Chilean Antarctic Expedition (1949–1950). The background of the Argentine naming is not known.
