The Islote Sussy ( Spanish is) a small island off the Danco Coast of Graham Lands on the Antarctic Peninsula . In the Lientur Canal , it is 1.2 km northwest of the Punta Valparaíso headland , which in turn forms the southern branch of the Lemaire Island .
Scientists of the 5th Chilean Antarctic Expedition (1950–1951) named her after Susana Hiriart "Sussy" Suárez, wife of the future admiral Victor Bunster del Solar, captain of the Lautaro on this research trip .
