Islote Vera

The Islote Vera ( Spanish is) a small island off the west coast of Trinity Peninsula at the tip of the Antarctic Peninsula . It is located northwest of Punta Lermanda on Kopaitic Island in the Duroch Islands group .

Scientists of the 2nd Chilean Antarctic Expedition (1947–1948) named it after Lieutenant Edgardo Vera Fisher (* 1912), who was involved in this research trip.
