Ismael Marcelo Hernández Uscanga (born January 23, 1990 in Cuautla ) is a Mexican pentathlete .

Life

Ismael Hernández Uscanga secured his first international medal with silver at the 2015 Pan American Games in Toronto . The following year he took part in the Summer Olympics for the first time in Rio de Janeiro . He finished the competition with 1468 points behind Alexander Lessun and Pavlo Tymoschtschenko on the bronze rank .

In 2010, Hernández Uscanga tested positive for Clenbuterol and was subsequently banned .
