action

The 25-year-old Thomas lives with his parents, Gunilla and Bengt, and devotes himself to magic. When he tries to show his parents a trick, he injures his mother. In the hospital he met Monika, a single nurse. She asks him to appear at the birthday party for her son Jonas. The performance succeeds and Thomas invites her to his big show on the occasion of the celebration of the father's 60th birthday.

Bengt doesn't think much of his son's magic, and only when Thomas promises to look for a paid job does he get permission to perform at the party. However, the mother asks that the same trick not be performed as the one in which she was injured.

At the party, Thomas earned some applause, but when he performed the forbidden trick anyway, the volunteer fell to the ground covered in blood. The audience and parents are horrified, then the supposedly injured man gets up again and Thomas introduces him as a stuntman. Thanks to Thomas' show, the party will be a great success.
