Istathesyssel

Istathesyssel was a historical administrative unit named after the place Idstedt , which brought together a number of Harden .

history

The Erdbuch of Waldemar II. Recorded in 1231 the southern part of the Duchy of Schleswig as Istathesyssel. It contained the following areas:

  2. Husbyharde
  3. Nieharde
  4. Schliesharde
  5. Struxdorfharde
  6. Uggelharde
  7. Nordergoesharde (later the office of Bredstedt )
  8. Südergoesharde (later the office of Husum )
  9. Arensharde
  10. Kroppharde
  11. Hüttener Harde
  12. Hohner Harde .

The areas of Fræzlæt , Schwansen , Stapelholm , Kamp and Jarnwith , which were attached to the Istathesyssel in Waldemars Erdbuch, had a special position as Danish crown property .
