István Láng

István Láng [ ˈiʃtvaːn ˈlaːŋɡ ] (born March 1, 1933 in Budapest ) is a Hungarian composer.

Láng studied from 1951 to 1958 with János Viski and Ferenc Szabó at the Budapest Music Academy. He then became the musical director of the Hungarian State Puppet Theater. In addition to two operas , two television operas and four ballets , he composed a string and a viola concerto, a bucolic concerto for horn and orchestra, a concertino for xylophone and orchestra, a double concerto for clarinet and harp, funeral music for orchestra, chamber music works, drama , Film and television music, cantatas , choral works and songs .
