Ita Rina (born July 7, 1907 in Divača , † May 10, 1979 in Budva ; born Italina Kravanja or Ida Kravanja ) was a Yugoslav actress .

She grew up in Ljubljana and was elected Miss Slovenia in a beauty contest in autumn 1926 . For the first Miss Yugoslavia election at the end of the year in Zagreb , she came too late when the winner was already chosen: Štefica Vidačić. However, it was there that the German producer Peter Ostermayr discovered her for the film, initially under the name Italina Kravanja . Ita Rina became known in 1929 through the melodrama Erotik ( Erotikon ) by the Czech director Gustav Machatý, with love scenes that were unusually intense at the time.

After further roles in German and international film, she married a Yugoslav engineer in 1932. She converted from the Roman Catholic to the Serbian Orthodox faith and changed her name to Tamara Đjorđević . She still worked in a few films and played on Yugoslav theaters after the Second World War. She is buried in the Novo Groblje cemetery in Belgrade .
