Ith tower
The Ithturm is a 1912 erected 13.8 m high observation tower on the Ith between Lauenstein and Bisperode in Lower Saxony . He stands on the Lauensteiner head , which is 439 m above sea level. NHN highest elevation of the elongated Ith ridge in the "Krüllbrink" called northern part of the ridge. The tower is therefore also called the Krüllbrinkturm .
From the observation deck of the tower you can look over the Ith ridge and Bisperode with the glider airfield "Ith-West". The Bisperoder cliffs , which are popular with climbers, are located near the tower .
