I unit (also Junit, Init ) is an ancient Egyptian goddess of death , which is rarely mentioned, and for example in the Pyramid Text 482c as the " mother of the deceased is busy". In addition, in the Book of the Dead 159 , Junit was closely related to the moon deity Iah . It remains unclear whether this junit is identical with the junit of the same name from Armant .
