Iván Bolado Palacios (born July 3, 1989 in Santander , Cantabria ) is a former Spanish-Equatorial Guinean football player .

Player career

Club career

Iván Bolado comes from the youth of his club Racing Santander . He made his debut against the Catalan top team FC Barcelona at the start of the 2007/2008 season on August 26, 2007. The game ended 0-0. For the first time he scored for his team in the 2-0 home win in the Copa del Rey against the second division FC Málaga on January 2, 2008. A little later he scored his first goal in a 2-2 home game against Real Saragossa on January 27, 2008 of the Primera División . The next season he played on loan for FC Elche . He returned to Santander in the summer of 2009 but missed most of the season due to an injury. In the 2010/2011 season he was only used in 19 games due to strong competition, but only seven times from the beginning.

For the 2011/2012 season, Bolado moved to FC Cartagena in the second Spanish division. There he scored two goals in 10 games.

In February 2012 he left Spain and joined CSKA Sofia . In his only game for the Bulgarians, he was seriously injured and was out for the rest of the season.

In March 2014, Bolado returned to Spain. He played three times for Real Avilés before moving to Pune City FC in India .

International

Iván Bolado was a player for Spain's U-21 national team . On the occasion of the African Cup of Nations in 2012 , Bolado, whose father comes from Equatorial Guinea , was appointed to the Equatorial Guinean national team and made his international debut on January 6, 2012.
