Iván César Martínez Montalvo

Iván César Martínez Montalvo (* 1943 ) is a former Cuban ambassador and journalist .

Life

Iván César Martínez Montalvo studied from 1962 to 1965 economics , in 1969 Barrister then a correspondent for Prensa Latina , wrote for Bohemia and gave Revolution and Culture out.

In 1974 he joined the foreign service and was employed in the North America and Caribbean departments. From November 16, 1975 to 1982 he was the first Cuban ambassador to be accredited in Georgetown (Guyana) . In the meantime he was deployed as a non-resident ambassador in Bridgetown ( Barbados ) in 1978 and in St. George’s Grenada from April 16 to October 3, 1979 . Finally, Montalvo was appointed Ambassador to Harare from February 1984 to March 1985 .
