Iván Castellani (born January 19, 1991 in Padua , Italy ) is an Argentine volleyball player .
Career
Iván Castellani is the son of today's volleyball coach Daniel Castellani , who won bronze as a player at the 1988 Olympic Games . He first played rugby himself before switching to volleyball at the age of thirteen. Initially he was active at UPCN Voley. From 2010 to 2012 the diagonal attacker played at Club Ciudad de Bolívar . With the Argentine juniors, he was runner-up in 2011. With the Argentine national team , he reached the quarter-finals at the 2012 Olympic Games . He then moved to PSM Vóley within the Argentine league. In 2013 Castellani went to France to Montpellier UC and in 2014 to Italy to Pallavolo Molfetta . In 2015 he returned to Argentina and now plays for Deportivo Morón .
