Iván García (singer)

Iván García is a Venezuelan opera and concert singer ( bass ).

He received his training with the Orquesta Sinfónica de la Juventud Venezolana Simón Bolívar , the Venezuelan state youth symphony orchestra. Since his European debut at the Glasgow Festival in 1996, he has appeared on many European stages. He has already sung in the Lyon Opera , the Comédie de Montpellier and the Gran Teatre del Liceu in Barcelona.

Cooperations

He worked with the Spanish viol player Jordi Savall , the French harpsichordist Christophe Rousset , Gabriel Garrido , his ensemble Elyma and others. García formed a trio with the double bassist Edicson Ruiz and the pianist Sergio Tiempo , which performed arias by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart , Alberto Ginastera , Efrain Oscher and others.
