Iván Rodríguez (athlete)

Iván Rodríguez ( Iván Rodríguez Padilla; born January 15, 1937 in Yauco ) is a retired Puerto Rican sprinter .

At the Olympic Games in 1956 he reached the semifinals over 400 m and the quarter-finals over 200 m . In the 4 x 400 meter relay , he was eliminated in the run-up.

In 1959 he won silver over 400 m at the Central America and Caribbean Games . At the Pan American Games in Chicago , he won bronze in the 4 x 400 meter relay and was fifth over 400 m.

In the 400 m he was eliminated over 400 m in the lead.
