Ivar Eriksson (born December 25, 1909 , † April 12, 1997 ) was a Swedish national football player .

career

Eriksson played for Sandvikens IF in the Allsvenskan . He was also a Swedish international . He took part in the World Cup qualifier against Germany in Hamburg on November 21, 1937 , which Sweden lost 5-0.

For the Blågult he took part in the 1938 World Cup. Together with his club-mate Olle Källgren, he formed the defensive line in the quarter-finals and semi-finals , while Erik Nilsson played at his side in the game for third place against Brazil .
