Ivica Lucić (born January 19, 1982 ) is an Austrian football player with Croatian roots.

Career

Lucić began his career at SV Chemie Linz , from where he moved to LASK Linz in 2003, where he was rarely used.

In 2006 he was attracted by an offer from the German regional league team SC Pfullendorf , which he also accepted. After three seasons in Germany, Lucić came back to Austria in January 2008 and signed with the later first division promoted Kapfenberger SV . The half Croatian made his Bundesliga debut in the top Austrian league on September 21, 2008, in the 6-0 defeat against SK Austria Kärnten . Lucić was substituted in the 70th minute by Kapfenberg's noble joker Herbert Wieger . After two more appearances in the Bundesliga, Lucić moved in January 2009 on loan to the second highest division at DSV Leoben . With the descent of Leoben from the second division, Lucić was without a club. from the beginning of 2010, he played in the third team of SV Kapfenberg , called ASC Rapid Kapfenberg, in the Styrian savings banks under League North B . In 2011 he was promoted to the second team that played in the Regionalliga Mitte . He was also used twice in the first team.

In the summer of 2013 Lucić left Kapfenberg and switched to ATSV Sattledt in the Upper Austrian regional league. In the following two seasons he was able to achieve 28 goals in 47 missions and twice just missed promotion with his team. In the summer of 2015 he switched to league competitor UFC Eferding before he was signed by FC Wels , who played in the Upper Austrian League , in early 2016 . At the beginning of 2018 he joined SV Viktoria Marchtrenk in the regional league.
