Ivo Pietzcker

Ivo Pietzcker (* 2002 in Berlin ) is a German actor.

Life

Ivo Pietzcker played the lead role in his first film Jack in 2014. The film received a number of awards, including the Silver Lola and the Bavarian Film Prize for the best newcomer production. He tells how a ten-year-old boy ran away from the home and spent several days looking for his mother in Berlin with his younger brother. He received largely positive reviews for his portrayal. Björn Becher from Filmstarts said that his performance resulted in a “moving portrait” and “cannot be rated highly enough”. When price of the German Film Critics Pietzcker was nominated as "Best Actor".

In the 2016 feature film Nebel in August , Ivo Pietzcker played a leading role again with the personification of 13-year-old Ernst Lossa . During the Nazi era, the boy was placed in a nursing home where the euthanasia program was carried out. This film was also awarded a prize. At the presentation of the Günter Rohrbach Film Prize 2016 , Pietzcker received the Saarland Radio Prize .

Ivo Pietzcker has no agency; his father takes care of business matters. He goes to the international Berlin Metropolitan School .
