Ivonne Teichmann

Ivonne Teichmann (born April 11, 1977 in Zeulenroda ) is a former German middle-distance runner .

Ivonne Teichmann is five times German champion over 800 m ; In 2001 she won outdoors, in 1996, 2000, 2001 and 2002 she won indoors. Her best time is 1: 58.62 minutes, run at the Golden League Meeting in Brussels in 2001.

At the European Indoor Championships in Ghent in 2000 , she finished fifth. A year later she was eliminated from the semi-finals of the World Indoor Championships in Lisbon. In the summer she reached the finals at the World Championships in Edmonton and was eighth. At the European Championships in Munich in 2002 she was seventh in 2: 00.87 minutes.

Ivonne Teichmann started for SC Magdeburg , LG Olympia Dortmund , LC ThüringenGas Erfurt and LAZ Puma Troisdorf / Siegburg. With a height of 1.71 m, her competition weight was 53 kg. She is a trained sports marketing manager (IST) and sports specialist (IHK) and is currently working in this area.

Ivonne Teichmann is married to the pilot and former swimmer Stefan Pfeiffer and has two children.
