Ivan Michajlowitsch Bobko ( Ukrainian Іван Михайлович Бобко́ ; born December 10, 1990 in Odessa , Ukrainian SSR , Soviet Union ) is a Ukrainian football player (attacking midfielder).

Career

Ivan Bobko began his football career in his hometown near Chornomorets Odessa for the 2007/08 season, he was promoted to the club's second team. After Odessa was relegated from the Premjer-Liha in the 2009/10 season , Bobko rose to the club's first team and made his debut on September 26, 2010 in the Perscha Liha . In the 2-1 win against FC Prykarpattya Ivano-Frankivsk , he came on for Giorgi Chelebadze in the second half . He scored his first goal for Chornomorets on October 6, 2010 in his third appearance. In the 52nd minute he scored Bila Tserkva in the game against Arsenal-Kyivshchyna for the 1-0 winner. With his four goals, he played a part in the fact that Chornomorez was behind PFK Oleksandrija in second place at the end of the season and managed to return to the Premjer-Liha.

He made his debut in the Premjer-Liha on July 11, 2011. In the 1-1 draw against Karpaty Lviv , he came on for Igor Tigirlas in the 67th minute . His first two goals in the Premjer-Liha he scored on April 22, 2012 in the game against Metalist Kharkiv , which ended 3: 3. In the 2012/13 season he reached the cup final with the team, where Shakhtar Donetsk lost 3-1. Because Shakhtar Donetsk was already qualified as champions for the Champions League, Odessa qualified as a defeated cup finalist for the UEFA Europa League . He made his international debut on July 18, 2013 when he played against Moldovan club Dacia Chisinau in the second qualifying round. He was on the pitch for the entire season in the 2-0 win.

For the second half of the 2016/17 season he moved from Chornomorets Odessa to Metalist Charkiw . He made his debut for his new club on March 1, 2015. In the 3-0 defeat against Dynamo Kiev , he was substituted on for Dmytro Antonov in the 86th minute . After a year and a half, he left the club again and moved to Hungary to Debreceni Vasutas SC in the Nemzeti Bajnokság . There he made his debut on September 10, 2016. In the 2-1 win against Újpest Budapest , he came on in the 69th minute for David Holman . He scored his first and only goal for the club on his second mission. In the 1: 3 defeat against Ferencváros Budapest , he scored the interim 1: 1 equalizer in the 16th minute.

After about half a year, Iwan Bobko's contract with Debreceni Vasutas SC was triggered. After six months without a club, he rejoined his hometown club Chornomorets Odessa , where he has been under contract with one interruption ever since.
