Ivan Serrurier
Iwan Serrurier (born September 21, 1878 in Leiden , † 1953 ) was a Dutch - American inventor and entrepreneur .
Life
His parents were Lindor Serrurier, curator of an ethnographic museum in Leiden, and Martina Lindo. Serrurier grew up in the Netherlands and later immigrated to the United States in his life. Serrurier developed the Moviola film cutting machine in 1924 . In 1903 he married Catharina Damme in Utrecht . His son Mark Serrurier continued the Moviola company. Serrurier lived with his family in Pasadena, California.
