Izzedine Umar Musa

Izzedine Umar Musa ( Arabic عز الدين عمر موسى, DMG ʿIzz ad-Dīn ʿUmar Mūsā ; * 1936 in Sudan ) is a historian of Islamic history and university professor . He is the Dean of the Colleges for Strategic Studies at the Naif Arab University for Security Sciences (NAUSS) in Riyadh , Saudi Arabia . He previously taught as a professor of Islamic history at King Saud University .

He was one of the 138 signatories of the open letter a common word between us and you ( Engl. A Common Word Between Us and You ), the personalities of Islam to "leaders of Christian churches everywhere" (Engl. "Leaders of Christian Churches, everywhere ... ") (October 13, 2007).

He was one of the signatories of the Amman Message ( Amman Message ).
