Jón Halldórsson (Bishop)

Jón Halldórsson (* 1275 in Norway , † February 2, 1339 in Bergen (Norway) ) was Bishop of Skálholt in Iceland .

Jón Halldórsson was a Dominican who studied theology in Paris and canon law in Bologna . He became bishop in Skálholt in 1322 and held this office until his death.
