Jörg Albrecht (journalist)
Jörg Albrecht (born October 29, 1954 in Goslar ) is a German science journalist .
Life
Albrecht studied biology at the Technical University of Braunschweig and completed a traineeship at the “ Wolfenbütteler Zeitung ”.
He was a fellow of the Robert Bosch Foundation .
Albrecht was the editor of “ Westermanns Monatshefte ” until they were discontinued; then he was at " ZEITmagazin " until this was also discontinued. After that, Albrecht was with “Die Zeit”.
In July 2001 Albrecht moved to the Frankfurter Allgemeine Sonntagszeitung in the science department, which he has headed since 2003 (since 2008 together with Ulf von Rauchhaupt ).

- 2010: Prize for nature journalism (together with Anke Sparmann)
- 2016: Werner and Inge Grüter Prize for Science Communication
