Jörg Bensberg

Jörg Bensberg (born September 4, 1960 in Bad Honnef ) is a German politician without a party and since November 1, 2001 District Administrator of the Ammerland district .

Life

Bensberg attended the old grammar school in Oldenburg from 1970 to 1979 , where he graduated from high school . After finishing school he worked as a paramedic in the Bundeswehr until 1981 . Bensberg studied law at the University of Göttingen until 1987 . He completed his legal clerkship at the Oldenburg Higher Regional Court until 1990 .

During his further career, he was initially a government assessor at the Lüneburg district government , then moved to the Weser-Ems district government as a government councilor and was seconded to the Ammerland district in 1992, where he was unanimously elected deputy chief district director in December . He took up this position on January 1, 1993. In 2001 the independent Bensberg was elected in a direct election to the full-time district administrator of the district of Ammerland. He was re-elected on September 10, 2006 and May 25, 2014.

Bensberg has been married since 1989 and has two daughters.
