Jörg Heidelberger
Jörg Heidelberger (born December 5, 1942 in Berlin ; † June 12, 2015 in Grünstadt ) was a German Protestant pastor and politician of the SPD .
Life
Heidelberger was born the son of a bookseller. After attending school, he studied Protestant theology at the universities in Berlin , Mainz and Heidelberg . He passed his first and second exams at the Palatinate Church and trained as a pastor. From 1969 to 1972 he was vicar in Ludwigshafen am Rhein and from 1972 to 1975 pastor in Römerberg . For a while he held the pastoral position in Mechtersheim .
From 1975 to 1979 Heidelberger was a member of the state parliament of Rhineland-Palatinate , where he was active in the legal committee.
Jörg Heidelberger had been married since 1966 and had two sons.
