Jörg Horn (born May 6, 1964 in Dortmund ) is a former German soccer player .

Career

Horn already played in the youth of Borussia Dortmund . In order to work on a planned professional career, he broke off his training as an insurance salesman. On the 22nd matchday of the 1982/83 season he was used only once for the Bundesliga team. He was in the starting line-up against Eintracht Braunschweig and formed the defensive line with Rolf Rüssmann and Meinolf Koch in front of goalkeeper Eike Immel . At halftime he was due to poor performance by coach Karl-Heinz Feldkamp against Heinz-Werner Eggelingexchanged. The game was won by BVB 3-2. It was Horn's last appearance in the Bundesliga. He refused any further planning in the amateur teams of BVB, which is why the contract was terminated after the season. Horn later played for Rot-Weiß Lüdenscheid .
