Jörg Mielers (born November 2, 1964 ) is a former German soccer player .

Career

Mielers started playing football at the Dortmund clubs VfL Hörde , TuS Eving-Lindenhorst and VfR Sölde . With Sölde he played in the association league after his youth before moving to the district division Hombrucher SV. During the 1987/88 winter break, he moved to the Bundesliga for FC Schalke 04 . In the Bundesliga he played three games for the Gelsenkirchen team. At the end of the season, the relegation was on the books. Mielers continued to play for the S04 in the 2nd Bundesliga until he sustained a knee injury during training, which meant the end of his career.
