Jörg Spillmann (born February 7, 1962 in Düsseldorf ) is a former German soccer player .

Career

Spillmann was in the service of Fortuna Düsseldorf when he made his debut in professional football. In the 1988/89 season Fortuna played in the 2nd Bundesliga , on matchday 21 he played over 90 minutes in the away game against FC 08 Homburg . The game was lost 3-1. Spillmann did not get a chance and Fortuna rose to the Bundesliga together with Homburg . In the 1990/91 season Spillmann came to another professional assignment, this time he played in the Bundesliga. On the 33rd matchday he ran against Werder Bremen for over 90 minutes.

After his career as a player, Spillmann took over the position on the sidelines at various amateur clubs.
