Jörg Wolff (born  November 26, 1962 in Marbach am Neckar ) is a former German soccer player .

Life

Wolff moved in 1984 from the league promoted FC Marbach to the German champions VfB Stuttgart . He played his first Bundesliga game on September 15, 1984 when he was substituted on for Jürgen Klinsmann on the 4th day of the match in a 3-1 home defeat by Werder Bremen in the 62nd minute . During this time, VfB Stuttgart was peppered with several later world and European champions. In the remainder of the season Jörg Wolff played another five Bundesliga games, and the following year ten, scoring two very important goals that were decisive for reaching the UEFA Cup . After he was no longer taken into account at VfB in the 1986/87 season, he was signed by the second division SpVgg Bayreuth with today's Bundesliga coach Armin Veh in the summer of 1987 . At the end of his professional career, he played from 1990 to 1992 at SV Waldhof Mannheim with today's Bundesliga coach Dieter Hecking and the later national player Christian Wörns . In November of the 92/93 season, Jörg Wolff was signed by the then top division bottom of Baden-Württemberg, VfR Pforzheim. He became the decisive player to stay up and scored 13 goals in the second half of the season. At VfR Pforzheim he played until 1995, but the promotion in 1995 in the relegation game against Eintracht Frankfurt 2 was missed. Many players and coach Rainer Adrion left the club after the season. Before the 1995/96 season Wolff moved to VfR Heilbronn in the Württemberg Association League . In his first season he scored 21 times and finished fourth with VfR. In the next season 1996/97 he met 23 times and was thus significantly involved in the rise of VfR Heilbronn to the league. He then moved to SpVgg 07 Ludwigsburg as a coach . Later he worked as a coach for other clubs. In the 2002/03 season he was released from TSG Backnang , in 2007 he resigned from FC Heilbronn on his own initiative.
