Jörg Woltmann (born November 30, 1968 in Annahütte ) is a former German soccer player in midfield . He played two games in the 2nd Bundesliga for Energie Cottbus .

Career

Woltmann played in his youth with the youth teams of BSG Energie Cottbus and with BFC Dynamo . In 1988 he went to SG Schmogrow before moving to SpVg Aurich the next season . After a season he returned to Schogrow. Energie Cottbus then signed Woltmann. He made his debut in the Regionalliga Nordost on July 31, 1994 against FC Hertha 03 Zehlendorf . In the following games he was often in the starting line-up. He was used after the 1996/97 season in the two promotion games for the 2nd Bundesliga against Hannover 96 and was able to prevail with Cottbus.

In the following second division season Woltmann was rarely in the squad and only came on two missions. At the 1996/97 DFB Cup he reached the final with Cottbus. It was used in all games with the exception of the 2nd main round. In the first main round match he secured FC Energie 1-0 after being substituted on with a goal in extra time. In the final Woltmann lost with Cottbus against VfB Stuttgart 2-0, he himself was substituted in the 82nd minute. Since 1997 Woltmann also played actively for the second team. By 2003 he had 138 games and 14 goals there. He then went to 1. FC Guben and stayed there for five years before moving to FSV Viktoria Cottbus in 2010 .
