Jörn Hartmann

Jörn Hartmann (* 1964 in Osnabrück ) is a German graphic artist , photographer and filmmaker .

After training as a photographer, Hartmann worked for eight years as a picture editor for the magazine Männer aktuell from the Bruno Gmünder Verlag Berlin. In 1995 he started working with digital media. He took photos for off-stage projects and his own video clips. From 1998 to 2001 he worked for Cazzo Film . At the beginning of 2002 he founded the film production company Heinz & Horst Filmproduktion with Michael Huber and the video sales company Heinz und Horst oHG to promote gay off-artists.

Jörn Hartmann is director and producer of the comedies Mutti - Der Film (2003) and 18:15 from Ostkreuz (2006), which premiered at the Berlinale. He was responsible for editing several films by Bruce LaBruce (including Otto; or, Up with Dead People ) and Jochen Hick, as well as porn productions for the Berlin company Wurstfilm .
