Jørn Nielsen

Jørn "Jønke" Nielsen (born June 5, 1960 in Gladsaxe , Denmark ) is a Danish Hells Angel and crime writer .

Life

Nielsen's family moved quite often in the beginning, as his father was a telegraph operator in the Danish army. His mother was a real estate agent. After his father was first transferred to the reserve and then to the Danish Post Office, the family lived in Gammelmosevej. Nielsen dropped out of school at the age of 15 and then worked in a supermarket.

Nielsen's criminal career began in 1975 when he was arrested during a brawl in a pub. In 1977 he began to get into the rocker scene , first with Nomads MC, with an illegal moped. In 1978 he was sentenced to two and a half years in prison for attacking a man with a knife. In the same year he also bought his first motorcycle. After serving his sentence, he founded the first Hells Angels charter in Denmark in 1980 in Nørrebro , Copenhagen .

In 1984 Nielsen Henning murdered Norbert Knudsen ("Makrel"), the president of the Bullshit MC, with 20 shots from a submachine gun . To avoid arrest, he fled to Canada . However, he returned home after several years of exile, was arrested at the airport and sentenced to sixteen years in prison. In 1988 he began serving his sentence in a Danish prison. In 1996, during the rocker war in Scandinavia , the Bandidos tried to kill him several times there . In the summer of 1998 he was released from custody. However, after the death of a man in Aalborg in 2001, he was arrested again and sentenced to four more years in prison.

On December 27, 2007, Nielsen was attacked in Nørrebro . During the fight, he killed his assailant with a knife and was subsequently arrested. After nine months of pre-trial detention, he was released and acquitted of all charges on February 6, 2009.

As an author

Nielsen was already active as a writer in exile in Canada. To date, he has published several books, including two biographies, which were also published in German translations in 2003 and 2004. The third part of his biography has so far only appeared in Danish, as have his four detective novels that have been published so far .
